What is The Organization Schema Markup?
Organization Schema is undoubtedly one of the best Schema types to support E-A-T efforts.
This Schema type offers a variety of properties that can provide additional context to search engines about a company or brand.
How to Implement the Organization Schema Markup Using Yoast?
Yoast SEO has a unique approach to implementing schema on websites. For this approach to work properly, you must provide the plugin with as much information as possible about the company.
1. Fill the Knowledge Graph & Schema.org Fields
- Go to the Yoast SEO tab
- Go to the “Search Appearance” settings
- In the “General” tab, fill all the fields in the section called “Knowledge Graph & Schema.org”
2. Provide Information on the Organization’s Social Profiles
- Go to the Yoast SEO tab
- Go to the “Social” settings
- Provide as much information as possible on each of the tabs (Accounts, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)
Note: Make sure to add social profiles that are not listed by default (e.g., Wikipedia page, YouTube channel, etc.)
Additional Steps
To achieve even better results, it is recommended to implement schema on key pages of the website using the “Schema” settings of Yoast.

- FAQ Page
- AQ Page
- Profile Page
- Contact Page
Validation Tools
These are the tools recommended by Yoast SEO to validate schema data on a page.
- The official schema.org validator checks for structural and syntax errors.
- Google's Rich Results Test (or 'SDTT') validates whether a given page is eligible for certain types of rich results in Google.
- Classy Schema visualizes a page's graph, to ensure that it's cohesive and coherent.
Note: Due to the nature of Yoast’s way of organizing schema data, some of these tools do not provide accurate results on the tests. After some testing, we’ve found that the most accurate is the Classy Schema structured data viewer. However, it is still recommended to use them all to check for any issues.
